The AS-AD-10 Arsenic Reduction under counter unit will reduce the arsenic in the water to undetectable levels <0.2 ppb, in 1,000 gallons of water. The undercounter cartridges are filled with Krudico’s Granular Ferrice Hydorxide Arson-Bind Media. Both As-3 (arsenite) which is neutral and As 5 (arsenate) which has an anionic charge are attracted to the media and held even when disposed of in a landfill. Recontamination of the ground water is not possible as the arsenic ions remain bound the media even when disposed of in a landfill. The monitor counts down the water usage and LED lights tell the consumer when replacement of the cartridge is needed.
